Uses
- AF-Tribunis 15SC contains the active ingredient Mesotrione, a selective herbicide with a highly specific mode of action. AF-Tribunis 15SC inhibits the production of tocopherol and plastoquinone, which are essential for carotenoid biosynthesis. The product works by blocking the HPPD enzyme, preventing carotenoid formation. This causes weeds to lose chlorophyll (leaf bleaching), leading to gradual death.
- AF-Tribunis 15SC effectively controls broadleaf weeds and certain grass weeds across multiple crops such as rice, maize, soybean, sugarcane, coffee, and vegetables. It is especially effective when weeds are at the 1 - 4 leaf stage. As a smart, selective herbicide, AF-Tribunis 15SC is safe for crops when used as directed.
